Gerald Wallace does nothing to advance this team's agenda.  They're looking to develop young guys.  I don't think they care about placating Wallace by giving him minutes.  Don't get me wrong, I always more »

BB is good at drafting TEs?  He drafted enough of them over the years so I would hope he'd unearth a few good ones!  He drafted Dan Graham and Watson in the first round.  Both solid but not spectacula more »

The first step to getting back to being relevant is to have at least two young-ish, established stars to build around.  If DA trades Rondo then he's back at square 1 -- hoping he can land a centerpiec more »

Stephenson's contract is a higher annual average value and if he comes close to playing to his potential then he'll cash in with a contract with an even higher AAV a year before Bradly's contract even more »

Rondo gets amnestied?  There is a better chance of seeing Santa Claus riding a purple unicorn up Savin Hill Beach on Labour Day.  Rondo is their best player and an asset.  They either sign him, sign-a more »

A team that had little shot at winning the lottery last year won it.  It's a crap shoot to simply rely on the lottery.  If the C's go out and try to win games next year -- fine.  They won't win many o more »

Think about Wiggins and his one year of college.  He was inconsistent.  He didn't dominate all the time, great games here and there.  In some of KU's biggest games he was practically invisible.  I jus more »

Taking on Thornton's deal is meant as a strategy to clear space for next year if his contract expires or to help in the acquisition of a player via trade who will be here long term, either now or at t more »

  • Posted 07/11/2014 10:29:53 EDT

I'm guessing that since this team is in rebuild mode that Thornton will not get a lot of minutes and is counting the seconds until he can leave town.  He may not even be here past the summer.  Danny w more »

All I'll add is that Smart doesn't need to be jacking threes.  I get that it's summer league and he's working on his form and getting used to the three point line.  He can get to anywhere on the floor more »

At worst, Zeller is a low cost 5 who can probably play 25+ mins. and average 8 points and 5 rebounds.  They got the guy as a trade throw-in but he happens to actually have some skill and fills a need. more »

LeBron homecoming?  Good for us.  We get an expiring contract, a big man and a pick.  Good move by Danny.

I thought the TPE couldn't be used on multiple players?  And wouldn't DA want to use it to acquire an expiring contract if he can't use it to land a player who fits here?  It seems there are multiple more »

I watched both summer league games multiple times.  Smart comes as advertised on the defensive end.  He can handle the ball and distribute just fine like a PG.  It seems like he's getting used to the more »

It will take a strong training camp to unseat Bolden in my opinion.  He does lots of things well.  He's a jack-of-all trades RB who, while not great, knows the offense, plays special teams and could s more »
