I agree that since Lynch has a ring as well as an overinflated sense of worth it's doubtful he'd rein himself in to be a part of another winner.  I'd still take him on an incentive-laden deal, but I d more »

He's had a few drops, sure.  But I think Edelman has proven that he can be a reliable top 2 WR on this team.  We can nitpick any player and find plays where he screwed up, so take the drops in the con more »

The price was right for a guy who looks (as others said above) like someone you can plug in and who will make some plays.  Not bad for dropping back slightly in the draft.

Just read on ESPN that Lynch is the next to go in Seattle's housecleaning.  (Insert ESPN comments here - I get it.)  Cory Dillon redux?  Not sure he fits here personality-wise, and I have no idea what more »

History will look at this era of Patriots football very kindly and some day we'll all wish BB was here running the show -- unless the Kraft family hitches its wagon to the next up-and-coming football more »

A talent infusion in the form of at least 1 but preferably 2 All-Star caliber players.  Definitely 2 if Rondo leaves/is traded.  This team has a nice mix of young talent and draft picks.  Can they dev more »

Let's give him some time before declaring him offensively inept.  I know the numbers don't look good right now, but it's hardly a representative sample and he will continue to work on his skills.  I s more »

Not sure he is lead back material, but agree that he has produced in spots when involved in the game plan.  If he can stay healthy and take a good portion of the carries that Ridley was getting I thin more »

I don't read Eric Wilbur, but it's pretty sad when the headline is always 100% indicative of the author so I don't even need to guess which stories are his. It's laughable. It's like the boy who cried more »

If by "how far off" we mean playoffs - well sure, in the east this team could sneak in as currently built.  The debate, to me, is about far off are they from being a true contender.   And no mistake, more »

As a FA it can never hurt to have your name associated with one of the haves of MLB who can spend on FAs. The Sox may potentially have a need at C if Swihart is part of a bigger offseason deal.

To me, if you're a 1st - 3rd rounder (with the exception of a QB) the team thinks you can come in and likely help in the short term.  There have been some misses in rds. 2-3 where the Pats have had a more »

Unfortunate how it ended for Josh here -- I think he was a bit understood.  He was a pleasure to watch in 2007 and Mike Lowell was no slouch either.  Great trade for the Sox.
