    They haven't had an OF duo like Bradley and Cespedes since Dewey and Fred. 

    Yaz wasn't a very good LF by the time Lynn came up in '75. But if you want to sub in Rick Miller I'll take it.

    They didn't have ANY regular OF other than Bradley and the oft injured Victorino.  Now they have 2 corner OFs.  Betts is an IF playing who was playing out of position. Nava is a backup who can be drop more »

    If Lester had to go, I love getting Cespedes, IMO may be the best fit to a ball park and have the best personal stat increase since Beltre. I don't get Lackey unless Kelly develops into a solid starte more »

    Miguel Gonzalez was being speculated on as part of a deal in Balmer.  Perhaps one of their pitching prospects for another team's hitting prospect?

    In Balmer they are saying Miguel Gonzalez is involved.  That had better be as an add-on.

    Ya he's no ACE:  the Sox are loaded with pitchers who have these credentials in the Post Season 76 IP 2.11 ERA in 13 starts including 3WS starts 3-0 0.43 ERA in 21 IP

    Workman is scheduled to start in Pawt.  He'll be brought up and someone optioned.

    If Lester goes it will be at 3:59 pm on Thursday after the Sox are satisfied they go the most for him.

    I don't think fans want to deal Lester, but if the alternative is he walks for a sandwich pick, you take the prospects.
