Yes, MA landlords have it worse. We are the only state in the union that can't charge late fees unless the tenant is over 30 days late. That's one small example.

Remember that in many cases one cannot raze and build from scratch due to outbuildings being too close to property lines and other non-conforming issues. It has to be *repaired*.
