Fat Bob says that it is amusing that one marginal year causes everyone to jump ship. Same as when they won the cup and people were asking for Chiarelli and Julian to be fired. If the Bruins meet up wi more »

Not many are left to post comments. Fat Bob believes it is due to the epic writings above.

Fat Bob will note that this was a good decision. For those that say it should be more, it would never pass through the appeal process with the NHLPA. They are their own worse enemy.

Assuming he doesn't play? Really?
Fat Bob hopes they pull together hard tonight.

Fat Bob thinks that CJ needs to take a page from BB in that he should be saying it looks as though we are playing a team that is struggling. However, they have a great goalie, some really talented sc more »

Fat Bob says that it will be hard for the Bs to look past this team based on what they have done so far coming into tomorrow's game.
Still will never like Roy.

Fat Bob says that will all the attention on Iginla and Eriksson, the third line may surprise a few people. Again expectations are not high for them, so they may do rather well.

Fat Bob notes that they moved from having 6 centermen to now projecting 5 on the team.

He's a first rounder and deserves a chance to play up. Yes, he had a chance a few years back on the first line, but still people do get better (and Worse) through their careers. Fat Bob thinks that more »

Fat Bob says this was a great signing based on today's facts. Amazing that the Bruins have to win the cup each year to keep the negativity off the board. 1) If he was on the market some team would h more »

Fat Bob notes that we'll know prior to the game about Bergeron anyway. Plus, if he isn't taking faceoffs, that is kinda a big tell, wouldn't you think?
Bruins still should win tonight.

Fat Bob wants to know where the trolls are? They used to love coming to the comments and spewing rants of how Julian is awful and how the Bruins will be knocked out in the first round and that they ca more »

Fat Bob wonders if this will be a wide open game as everyone seems to think low scoring.

Fat Bob is glad the first games are in Chi. The Bruins play a more basic game away and may have an issue with overconfidence after the sweep. Playing there adds a sence of responsibility.

They meaning the Bruins score early, in case it wasn't clear.

Fat Bob will add that the Pens are not used to losing and haven't had a bad stretch to dig out of. Think about it. Every other team has had some adversity, even Chi. The Pens have played run and gu more »

Fat Bob will admit that he did not see game two coming in any way, shape, or form. However, he also thinks that it is not really Game 3 that is as important as Game 4.

Fat Bob know Pitt will be diving tonight to try and get those PPs. Maybe even rival a Montreal game. Fat Bob thinks Pitt will win big, but that doesn't mean he won't be screaming like Janet Leigh fo more »

Fat Bob will add that Krug is playing in ideal circumstances. It is like saying that Krug played better than Chara because he scored 4 goals and Chara didn't. Krug wasn't going up against Nash. Fer more »

Fat Bob would like to add diving to this list as the Penguins are seriously close to emulating the Canadiens.

Fat Bob thinks that second line is the best in the league, the only team that has a number 1 line to compete against it is, well the Penguins. Nasty, but the pressure is on them, not the Bruins for a more »

Fat Bob thought that game would end 1-0, not in the Bruins favor. Here's to the great effort.

Fat Bob looks forward to this tough game. Really interested to see if Girardi and McDonagh are teamed up again. It is the equivalent of Seid/Chara. The question is do they go against Bergeron or Kr more »

Remember Redden would really like to get at the team that demoted him. Bruins have a tough task no matter who is in. This is going to be a seriously tough game.

Fat Bob issues a cautionary statement. Everyone is high on Krug, but remember he is playing limited time in his ideal cirsumstances. That won't happen at MSG. Fat Bob loves watching this kid, but k more »
