I'm glad that someone is finally calling out the Patriots ownership as what they are: cheap, cheap, cheap! They are all about making money and not about winning. You have one of the greatest quarter more »

Excellent points. Kraft is content with where he's gone and he figures he doesn't need to spend anymore on the team. It's a business, if you fill the seats with an average team that barely makes the more »

Unfortunately Bill won't do that.

Losing those players is why they couldn't beat Denver in the playoffs. They team the way it is now is not a Super Bowl contender.

@Apres-Ski, The Pats were fortunate to win at least three of the games they won. If they lost those games they don't make the playoffs. That definately means that they are not on par with the Seahaw more »

Yeah, but this team the way it is now won't make the Super Bowl

I was thinking they would go with Champ Bailey. He kinda fits the mold of a typical "past his prime" player the Pats can get cheap they always seem to sign.

I agree with you. Talib really wasn't that good, definitely not worth the contract he signed with the Broncoes.

That's why they can't spend money and put a good team together. BB might have taken us to the Super Bowl but he's killed the team's future with all of these bad signings

The Pats are not a good team now and it seems they are content to stay that way. If they want to compete with the Broncoes they wll have to get alot of good expensive players, something we all know b more »

Great to see Peyton lose! He never accepts the loss as his fault. Even the snap that sailed over his head was because noone could hear him. No class at all. He needs to learn from Brady! As far a more »

Naaa, the damn Pats will be satisfied wit the three Super Bowl wins and that will be all you'll never see here. As long they fill the seats, managment won't have a reason to spend money.

This makes me so angry!! You're stupid if you don't sign Edelman, who else catches the ball? It's was bad enough to get rid of Welker. If this is the way the Pats will be in the future, the crowds w more »

I think we did over react to this one. Closing the schools today was a crazy idea, now parents who had to go to work today are scrambling to find someone to watch their kids, had to use vacation time more »

McDaniels is horrible. They should replce him with someone who can lead an offense and call the right plays. He was bad as a head coach, why should anything be different at the offensive coordinator more »

The game was strangely similar to last year's AFC Championship game. There was no way in hell the networks were going to let the Patriot's in the Super Bowl again. I doubt we'll ever see it again. more »

They will make the playoffs but they won't get far. This team really isn't that good anymore more »

I agree, if you can't put away teams with losing records like the Texans and the Browns, you just aren't that good. Saying that the Pats always has trouble with the Dolphins in Miami is a cop out. The more »

Belachick had this one wrong, but got away with it. You have a clear advantage to take the football first and they handed that advantage over to the Broncoes. Sure, he looks like a genious now, but wh more »

I think it was a bad decision and the Pats won in spite of it. You never want to give the ball the Peyton Manning with a chance to win the game. They had trouble stopping them all game and for them more »

I must say I disagree with you, he's part of the reason this team is successful. You dump a quarter billion on salaries, yet you still won't pay Ells or Lester? Ok get used to losing then. You wait more »
