FLSoxer; because it wouldn't be the Boston media way...there has to be a cloud in every silver lining. Remember, this is the same media that wanted to run Ted Williams out of town. They've ceased si more »

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

"Wonder why nobody's ever done a Ted movie."
I'm sure a Ted movie has been considered, but who on Earth could possibly play Ted and do it justice?

It's like Beetle Juice; if Cafardo says Drew's name enough times, he'll magically appear.

What does bother me is that the people who advance these new metrics have this smug "if you don't believe 100% in it, you're a dinosaur". I agree w/some but not all of it. I get the sense, and it's o more »

They're all pretty much ticketed as cannon fodder for Pawtucket.....AAA rosters turn over a lot season to season.

History has taught us one thing; you never count out the Yanks. That said, too many things have to turn around to be in it at the end, even for a WC. Will Tex's continue to decline? What about 2nd a more »

Merry Christmas to all.

Hey good luck to the guy and all, but you get the feeling conditioning was never high on his list; weak core = back problems.

A little gamesmanship, NBD.

A Sox-Indians series would at least guarantee full houses in both parks and not the 11 fans who show up in Tampa
Posted 10/01/2013 11:28:31 EDT
Not only the more interesting story, but a Sox-Indians ALDS would be played in front of packed houses in both cities, unlike the 11 people there would be in Tampa.

I hope he scores 20+ goals, but I'm just not seeing it with Soderberg

Poorly written, no insight, no answers to his questions plus he looks like one of the annoying twerps in the Ketel One ads.

HJ; Regardless of the outcome I'm sure the Rays would enjoy the experience of playing in Bostin in front of more that 12 fans, the way they do in that dump in FL.....The Rays last, LAST in the league more »

I tend to agree that the rubbing in 04 was marginal at best. But Keith Olbermann is a pompous gas bag and that's not based on any political difference. Personally I'd like to see KC & Cleveland as th more »

@jeffdrew: He was the first ever Sox player I saw close up as a kid so yes, I'm an old fart. I also remember how wretched those teams were so again yes, these are good times.

The appearances, goofiness and tight clubhouse is reminiscent of 2004 BUT, on the field it's a copy of 2007; efficient, relentless on offense, balanced, new faces coming up through the system and with more »

@RCSS; They could show movies on Vaugh's home jersey.........
