The question is, how will the personalities of Crosby, Malkin and Kessel mesh? Will Kessel have learned anything from his latest repeat performance in Toronto?

    I'm saying probably no.

With the recent trades I am happier than I was for sure. There is more team identity than there's been for a few seasons and the long term future is promising. The problem is still the right now and t more »

In response to fishers5's comment: What was the alternative after all the bad contracts and with new contracts coming due... Lucic is in the downside with all the injuries he's sustained...  The Hamil more »

Cameron Hughes from the 6th Round could prove to be a bit of a coup for the Bs.

I've always liked Lucic's passion and physical game but the bottom line was that he's really over paid for what he did on the ice and had only one left on his contract. Persoanlly feel the Lucic trade more »

I'm not sure what to make of Millar yet. He had a good season with the Monarchs but he has still to play a single NHL game. Sure, he's no replacement for Hamilton but I don't blame Sweeney for deali more »

If the Bs make the play offs and make a decent run then all the Lucic trash talk will disappear. Otherwise he could very well be traded.

As always for the Bs its a case of hope for the best but expect the worst. That being said I'm not sure squeaking into the play offs is the answer as they're likely just to get destroyed in the first more »

PC, or Claude for that matter, should go if the Bs fail to make the play offs. I'd also deal Lucic, Smith, Marchand and Krug who have all been playing like that just don't give a d*mn.

Even with the deficiencies in the roster thanks to PC's 'deals' and injuries this team is playing way below expectations and WAY below their talent level. And its been going on and on. I'm looking for more »

No way around it, Bs are going to have to trade a player or two with a big overgenerous contract if there is to be cap space for a rebuild.

Good points about PC. What can he do now? No matter how the Bruins got into this situation there is no magic solution out of it. Will require many positive tweaks here and there before they're back on more »

Yeah. And I remember back in 11 getting all excited about apparent Kaberle 'steal' and his smooth passing on the Bs blueline.

Is it any wonder I don't post here more frequently?

I love the way Lucic plays and I love his passion. I hope he stays. But 6 goals in 40 games is just a joke. Or looking at it in another way, that's $500,000 per goal for the first half of the season.
