The boy has to stay. Not unless PC/CJ want a wholesale fan revolt.

I love the way Lucic plays and I love his passion. I hope he stays. But 6 goals in 40 games is just a joke. Or looking at it in another way, that's $500,000 per goal for the first half of the season.

Regardless of how many goals the Bs are losing by they are still losing and out of a playoff place. There won't be much of an improvement over the season with the players they have now but neither wil more »

Lucic should have a month in Providence.

A trade for Matt Fraser might do the trick. Two goals in his last 4 games.

The denial here is just staggering. This team has just given up and I guess as long as people are paying top dollar for seats and the players are getting their cash nothing will change. Be interesting more »

Happy to send Bergeron and Lucic down to Providence for a week to shake them up. Aw heck, make it two weeks. Don't know what's going on with Bergeron but he deserves more criticism than he's been gett more »

Any predictions on the play offs? Are we looking at a repeat of 1997?
Posted 01/03/2015 05:15:23 EST
Not sure who will go first. CJ or PC ? Given how the #FireChiarelli (hashtag) is gaining momentum it could be him.

Denial denail. All I see is denial.

PC is still in my bad book but I don't blame him for not making a trade right now. Looks like there's nothing on the shelves worth shopping for.

I forsee another Bruins loss tonight. Hope they win mind you but I think they're after the McDavid pick next year. Chiarelli is a genius.

Everywhere I go online, whether that be twitter, facebook or where ever, Bruins fans are up in arms and want something to be done to pull the Bruins out of this horrendous season to date. But when I c more »

As much as I really like Lucic and his style of play he continues to bring very much of any value to the Bruins table. Trouble is between his lacklustre performance and his huge salary the Bruins will more »

People need to remember the circumstances with the Seguin 'deal'. Bruins at the time were seen as a pretty complete team with a bright future even without Seguin. And his loss didn't seem to be the bi more »

PC had a number of reasons to trade Seguin including the cap. Bet PC also saw him as under performing and toxic influence who alienated other players and caused at least player never to want to play more »

Some super moves from Loui lately. And speaking of which, he does sort of remind me of Christopher Reeve.

Bruins problems are far too deep to be solved with one trade. Just consider the players the Bruins have lost since the Summer of 2011 compared to personnel PC has aquired since then who are still play more »

PC needs to move Lucic to get Hall. Too bad he covets Fat more than almost any other NHL GM even Craig MacTavish.

Believe it or not but any flames in these board have absolutely no influence on how well the Bruins play. And a bit of venting isn't the end of the world. Still, its only game 30. But 2 points above . more »

Clearly Chia is seeing how far the Bruins are sliding and doesn't want all the losses to infect a boy who might one day save the franchise from what we are seeing now.
Posted 12/13/2014 04:36:13 EST
Far too early to be making predictions about the play offs just yet. But still, a whole lotta denial from this board's regulars about how far the Bruins are sliding right now. With or without Krejci.
Posted 12/13/2014 10:28:20 EST
A trade is needed now but I can't see PC making any move until Krecji is back for awhile.
