The Celtics will probably NOT make the playoffs and that is fine with me.  They will probably NOT win tonight.

We have too many games against teams fighting for the playoffs (or playoff position).

Just flat.  Amazing how this team has everything in front of them and they lay a first half egg like this.

For the life of me, I cannot understand Kelly's mentality.  When you look at Gigi and Jerebko, I see guys who are out there looking to make something happen.  They're not forcing things but they are t more »

Wow, that has to be the first layup I've seen Smart convert since forever.  Why can't he do more of that?

Smart needs to stop shooting so many 3-pointers.  He's taking them when ball movement should be the play.  Even Scal was confused by his last 3-point attempt (short of criticizing him). And what's the more »

Sully has all the tools to be a major contributor and he'll want to be paid as such when his rookie contract is up.  Even though he can't stay on the court, he'll want to get paid. We have to ask ours more »

Brandon Bass is the hardest working Celtic.  There has to be someone on the team that leads by example, by his work ethic, but being on the court every night giving it his all.  We don't have that out more »

This is some terrible basketball.  I cannot believe this is the NBA.  This is UGLY.

We scored 41 points in the 2nd quarter but only 30 so far in the 3rd and 4th quarters combined.

How many elite NBA players can you look at in the mold of Sullinger?  Zach Randolph comes to mind but outside of him, I can't think of anyone.  Maybe it's just me, but Randolph doesn't seem to "look f more »

BCSP, I think you're right.  I'm sure we've been monitoring it but maybe not as well as we should have. I think you can draw a link between his weight and a stress fracture in the foot. It's a shame b more »

The Celtics should waive Jae Crowder now.  This guy is horrible.  He can't shoot, he can't pass.  As a matter of fact, nobody on this team can pass the ball accurately. I have never been sold on this more »

I think the Celtics buy out Prince and Thornton so they can join a contender.  I also think the Celtics hold on to Bass. I think the Celtics place more value on their assets than they are really worth more »

The Hawks took their collective foot off the gas and the Celtics stole a win last night.  This was supposed to be a lock in the "Loss" column.  Oh well. I've been preaching about some of the challenge more »

In response to prakash's comment: Petey, please check Paul Milsap's stats.  While I agree that Sullinger is a stud down low, he will become that much more effective with more confident 3-pt shooting.  more »

cole-ely, Sully is shooting 28.7% from 3-point range, up from 26.9 from a year ago.  I honestly cannot see that drastic of an improvement in his 3-point shooting that you predict.  That big a jump is more »

Fierce, nobody said Brad Stevens should be fired.  As a matter of fact, go back and look at my previous posts.  I said it's too early to determine if he's a good coach or not.  It's too early. I hear more »
