In response to scubber's comment: Petey, Winning and getting to a point to be a contender from a bad team is hard in the NBA.  Obviously there is no guarantee. But that should not obscure the fact tha more »

Scubber, I can't argue your point.  However, to be good you have to combine drafting with FA signings and developing your players.  To be good, a team does not have to be so bad that it "earns" the #1 more »

Why do we still encourage tanking like it guarantees us anything?  It's going to take a whole lot of losing to be worse than Philly, New York, Minnesota and Detroit.  And that doesn't even include tea more »

AB is the Celtics "interim" or "acting" starting SG (until a permanent is acquired). Well into his 5th NBA, this is who AB is. He is an 8th or 9th man on a good team - 15 minutes max. Enough on him! I more »

I am at the game and I am quiet as a church mouse. Great seats four rows off the floor and have nothing to cheer about. We look absolutely terrible.  Too many missed shots (and layups), too many turno more »

We find a staple every other four or five games.  We have no true staple though.  There is not one part of the game that this team "hangs its hat on".  We don't hang our hats on our defense, our physi more »

I was totally confused by our rotations.  Sometimes I have no clue what BS is doing.  Green was aggressive in the 1st quarter but did not play until almost 3 minutes remained in the 2nd quarter.  By t more »

Good hustle Oly.  But get in the game and notice that the Plumlee tapped it out.  Leave it alone and let's try another shot. Oh well.  Guess I'll cheer them on tomorrow from my great seats at the Veri more »

Why do we keep going to Sully against Plumlee?  Sully cannot get a good look over him.  I guess I should be happy that he's down low. As Tommy said, why aren't we going to Turner with Anderson checkin more »

I think with the arrival of Wright, Bass no longer has a role on the Celtics.  I think he will be the next Celtic dealt. As for Smart, I'm really not seeing much of anything from this guy.  I wish he more »

I'm really questioning BS's rotations.  Okay, now I see Jeff.  Green had a great first quarter and he hasn't sniffed the court in the 2nd quarter.  I see him about to check in at the 3:24 mark left in more »

Check that!  I'd remove Green at the start of the 4th if he doesn't get aggressive.  I'd go with Crowder.

I want players who play with energy - Green looks lost.

Time for coach to make one of those decisions like he made in Washington.  AB is terrible, on offense and defense.  This guy cannot shoot. BS needs to go with Zeller, Kelly, Green, Smart and Turner.   more »
