Thanks for clarifying Tony. If he would only miss 9 games, that just enforces the idea that starting him in the minors is the common sense solution.

How is starting Bradley in the minors for 9 games "a real issue"? The alternative is to play him in the minors for 20 games and use one of his option years. This is a no-brainer.

Eeeeeeeeeeexactly. Peter's doing his best to try to create a controversy here so he has an easy story and gets easy reads. It's a win-win for him, regardless of what the Red Sox do he can criticize it more »

I believe that's a a misunderstand over whether or not Opening Night counts as a day. I don't believe it does, in which case it would be 12 days and 10 games.
