If the Pats signed Welker to a long term deal I think his cap munber would go down not up right?

Hopefully they have a trade in mind for someone that we have no idea about like Moss in 07.

Gallery is depth I hope and ifWaters gives it one more year we will be in good shape. He might after seeing them make these moves. While there is no "Sportcenter" type signing like Mario Williams the more »

My hope is the draft is 100% Defense through the top 4-5 picks. The offense with Fells, Gallery, Stallworth, Lloyd, and Gonzalez we should be even better than last year. Would like to see him trade up more »

I think this would be a big upgrade for the Pats if BJGE goes to Cincy or somewhere else. Not sure what he is looking for but he is better receiving, blocking, and has a little more burst than BJGE. M more »

Could Belichick bring him in for that hybrid safety/LB role he tried to have McGowan and a few other try a few years ago? I cannot recall the other guys they tried it with. I say no as it looks like h more »

Based on BB's history I cannot see him spending big money on a WR. As much as I would like to see Jackson, Wallace, or Bowe here my guess is he picks up a lower tier FA WR and spends the $$ on Welker. more »

I think they would change the philosphy a little bit if they had that stud RB. Forte would be the best fit but I can never see BB spending on that position. Injuries are going to be a concern going fo more »

I hope the Pats take the same direction as the late 90's Broncos. Those teams had an older Elway and built a great running game around him to take some of the pressure of him doing everything himself more »

    I'll take the Pats 27-23.

Defense stops the Giants on 4th down on last possession after they drive down from deep in their own territory.  Payback.
