    I think its safe to say that many pitching deals have worked out and many have not. When looking at some of the ones that have not worked out overly well, its not hard to figure out why. Lets look at more »

    So its looking like now the free agent market is down to scherzer, shields and a few higher profile relievers. (romo, janssen) With the marlins signing morse, I guess they wont be in on allen craig.

    With the dodgers sign anderson, no way they get in on any of the other big name pitchers. Phillies are losing suitors by the day. With the dodgers out, the sox definitely just gained some leverage.

    I would stay away from shields, he is a #2 on a good team, and is 33 years old. If we offered 6/135 to lester who is 30 going on 31, what would we give shields who is 3 years older? Plus the giants ar more »
