About Me: Started following the sox in the summer of 76'. Flew to Boston to spend 2 months there with an aunt and uncle. They weren't really, but acted like they were. Nice people. Same way I became a Celtics fan. However, she was a Cowboy fan...and yup, I still am. I still like the Pats, probably because of this Boston connection. What a great summer! Tall ships at the Cape! All these years, never been to Fenway. I remember listening to the playoff game the year they blew the 14 game lead on shortwave radio. Never showed baseball on TV here. I cried like a baby. More rain on the west side? Hmmm. Been through a few huricanes. Most rain I've experienced were the ones that the center passed to the west. And the hardest rain was in the NE quadrant. I've even expe more »

    Dear Boston Red Sox,
Quit talking about how good you are capable of. This may be your first mistake.

Not only did they deserve it, they earned it....the hard way. Still proud of the fight in the Sox though.

Sox played their hearts out. All I've ever asked for over the last 30 years. Thanks Sox. And congrats to the Rays.
I've never trusted an ownership as much as the one the Sox have now.

Nothing wrong with losing to a good team. To a bad team...that's a different story.
And the Rays will win the World Series. Could be a lot worse.
    Good run Sox!

The twins need to only go 15 and 10 to tie.
The Yankees need to go 20 and 6 to tie.
Not sure about who wins the ties.
    Since I had the time.
    Go World Champion Red Sox!

As long as the Sox win, I don't care what he thinks.

And as long as he keeps hitting, I don't care if he's funny or not. He's paid to hit, not be funny.
