Liver shunts can be common in miniature schnauzers and puppies, I guess. Good luck with Gracie! Amazing what we do for our pets....like children.

UPDATE: Vet called today and his blood tests show that the levels in his liver are abnormally high. So, now we need to go in on Friday to meet with an internal vet so he can have an ultrasound and the more »

Robin, no, he is from a breeder. I actually contacted the breeder to discuss this and she said that she has not heard of any of her other puppies having this condition, or any of her personal dogs. Sh more »
