My son just graduated from HS. A deceased classmate was memorialized at the ceremony, there was raucous applause, and I'm sure her parents were happy for one short instant.

Great piece - a small point: It's Framingham State University (FSU), not Framingham State College (FSC). They have a thriving fashion design program.
