Yes, it was only one preseason game, but it got me thinking more and more about Chris Baker.  I think he could probably work out the same way Christian Fauria did in 2002. He's a big target who has a more »

I'm really not concerned about Brady at all.  All signs are pointing to him being fine and this game should merely be a confirmation of that.

I'll be more interested in Kevin OConnell and the OLBs.

He definitely has plenty of years left in him with strong/solid play, barring an injury. With the weapons the Patriots have lined up for him, it wouldn't be surprising to see him outperform his statis more »

I agree with bub. I would have liked to have seen them bring in a veteran with a better track record, like Brian Griese, but Walter is going to fill the experienced backup void. There is no need to br more »

Saying the Colts are done is a little crazy.  I don't want to see them anywhere near the playoffs, but they've done a nice job replacing some pieces that have now gotten old.  Donald Brown and Anthony more »

A good mix is what you need, and that's where I feel the Patriots are right now. We've got plenty of vets, but after this draft we've suddenly got a nice infusion of youth.

    It's a good balance.

The Sun Chronicle thinks that one of the big issues going forward for New England will be the leadership in the locker room. Honestly, WHAT!? Yeah, the Pats have lost some veterans, but what happened more »

There's really two questions that need to be dealt with here. 1. Should he be allowed to play? 2. Do you want him to play for your team? Obviously Goodell has already made it clear that he will be rei more »

I like the sounds of both of the hybrid linebackers: Greg Hardy and Jerry Hughes.  Honestly, I don't know much about them other then what I read, but I think Belichick probably would prefer to get a p more »

I am really amazed by the amount of love that Kevin O'Connell is getting. I'd still love to see the Pats bring in a veteran quarterback like Brian Griese if only to give us some game experience just i more »

Vick probably is happy with that, I agree.

I just don't know if I believe Goodell SHOULD be going above and beyond his sentence.
