In the 1970's the minimum wage was $2.50; that is the equivalent of $13.50 today with inflation.
All wages have been suppressed while productivity has never been higher.
A correction is needed.

20 years ago UMass and UConn were considered equally ranked educational institutions. UConn did a major push in athletics and got more and better applicants and more donations and is now a higher ra more »
