One difference.......Williams, Russell, Orr, Yaz and Bird are HOFers and Brady will be a first ballot. Ortiz will not be.

Not at $ 15 mil a year. Yankees use the DH position rotating players. This year you'll see Jeter, Texieria, Soriano and Beltran DHing. Same thing next year minus Jeter.

If Ortiz did hit the open market in any of the past five years no other team, including the Yankees would pay him between $12-15 mil per. He'd get $7-8 tops.
