Cap hits: according to rotoworld
Johnson - 6.5M
Wilfork - 7.5M
Bolden - 500K
Mallet - 750K
Total - 8.75M
Maybe I am not understanding the cap but doesn't that save $2.25M?
Posted 03/18/2014 10:03:09 EDT
HAHA I guess not then.

Mallet and Wilfolk (maybe Bolden they need a backup for Foster)

I say resign edelman & blount and sign jones. Cut Arrington ($5M) and restructure Wilfolk (save $5M) (he will not make a lot of $$ out side of NE) Sign Peppers or Allen ($10M) and draft a TE, DL, more »

I read that they save $1.2 M if he is cut. Wait for the end of camp he may be worth keeping. Cut Arrington and save $5M.

Worth a look?
Posted 03/14/2014 07:57:46 EDT
I am hoping they cut arrington and use the money for a pass rusher like allen or peppers. I also want to see them resign eldeman and take a look at james jones.

Thank you wasn't sure what his deal was.
Posted 03/14/2014 07:52:56 EDT
Is he still signed? Will the pats keep him?
Browner and Revis on the corners, Dennard/Ryan in the slot, and Mccourty & Wilson at safety. WOW

CSNNE.com's Joe Haggerty suggests the Columbus Blue Jackets' asking price for Nash may simply be too high. "... Most expected that the Blue Jackets would be looking for Tuukka Rask in any Nash exchang more »

Probably someone in their division. The NHL tries to start a new season with divisional matchups.

Good point on Chara's Ice composure. Just wish they would get healthy, snap out of this funk, and get back to old school smashmouth Bruins Hockey. more »

I say put the C on his jersey next season. Chara has been decent at best this year. He has been turning the puck over more often then I can ever remember. Falling all over the place. In the last f more »

Why wouldn't he hold out? He will be 31 this year. If he signs the tag , the Pats could tag him again next year. He will be 33 going into free agency. I think he wants a bigger deal, and he deserv more »

I think Tate would be a good fit here. Houston already turned down the Browns on Tate and said they wouldn't even consider it unless a 1st was involved. Might be a dream i know. i just think Welker more »

I dont care that he was a 4th rounder 2 years ago. The kid is pretty good and has the best years in front of him. Maybe a 1st is too steep but i would give up a 2nd in a heartbeat. What doesn't more »

Could the Pats trade a 1st rounder to Houston for Tate? Then: Sign Welker for 3 yrs/ $25-27M. Sign Lloyd for $6-7M. Or if Welker won't sign. Trade him for a 1st and flip it for Wallace. The money more »
