Solder has emerged as a very solid Patriot OT.  Win for BB in drafting another stud OL.

Hmmm.  An all-Rutgers backfield.  Possible?  There will definitely be representation in the roster.

The Rodgers pick is really the only one I cared about.  I liked the pick.  Finally, a plus size receiver with good hands.  As for Collins, great physical specimen who may just need the motivation to b more »

No, no, no, no.  The Patriots will NOT draft a safety in the first round.  Say it, believe it,  know it.   With only five picks, BB's either gonna draft a DT/DE (Bill has better luck getting it right more »

Very interesting assessment.  If there's wiggle room in this draft between WR and CB, I'd say the Pats have more room to pick further down at WR.   I wouldn't mind seeing them pick a pass rush DE or b more »

I'm with you on the defense building.  They got some young blood but now they have to settle that backfield with some good talent.

That young defense will be a year wiser and better with the opportunity to solidify it with some key FA signings and draft picks.  Let's hope they can keep Talib.  McCourty needs to stay at FS.

What interests me is what will the Patriots do going forward.  Do they now address the defensive backfield with Aqib Talib and others?  With Dennard possibly facing jail time, the Pats actually need t more »

This one didn't sting nearly as much. I had a sense that the Patriots played hard and that it would come down to who made more plays. Fans from 30 teams did not get the priviledge of knowing what it's more »

Agree wholeheartedly on point 11. Solder has quickly learned his assignments and will be better than Vollmer; the success at center replacements has saved this O-line from disaster. As for point 12, t more »
