I've read several times on this board (particularly when someone criticizes a Pats rookie) that you can't judge a draft for 3 years.  I completely agree so I will reserve judgement.  I will say Vollme more »

@bubbazilla....why you so scared of the jests.  It does not matter who NE plays.  If they want to make a run they have to beat whatever team that is put in front of them.  I highly doubt this team is more »

I agree with Enoch.  Denver has had some terrible losses 4-3 at home losing to OAK.  They controlled their destiny and blew it.  Blaming the Colts is a lame copout.  Colts earned right to do what they more »

If it's about peaking at the right time, I'm not sure that NE fans should feel confident.  Pats are 3-2 in last 5 beating non-contending teams and losing to contenders.  Same record as Cin and BAL.  N more »

If the Pats were 8-7, of course it would be big news.  Same as if it were the Colts.  Those teams had stability and were expected to compete for SB.  Broncos a contender??????  Give me a break.  McDan more »

Pats need to get out of Houston healthy.  Yeah it would be nice to win but they will be playing next week either way and on the road the following week if they win.  Brady beat up and shouldn't play m more »

If anyone wants to research PI calls, all you have to do is go to nfl.com.  You click schedule, pick the season and the go week-to-week.  Simply review the play-by-play.  It's a little time-consuming more »

Can't believe this whining.  They clinched home field and rested their starters.  How awful.  We did the same thing in 2005 - it was pretty obvious we ordered Cassel to throw the ball out of the endzo more »

Why do NEP fans blame Asante Samuel alone for SB 42??  As if that was the only bad play/decision in the game.  What about the OL who couldn't block anyone and gave up 5 sacks (not to mention pressures more »

I think you can't go wrong with either guy.   I personally would pick Brady based on his post-season performances.   I find it funny that on one hand you hear "Stats are for losers" and then on the ot more »

You make some great points on how refs are influenced.  I completely agree.  It will be interesting to watch for this in the playoffs.  We can only hope a call doesn't impact final score.  I just don' more »

I agree Indy has benefitted from some bad PI calls at very opportune times.  Only an idiot could argue that.  However, I refuse to buy the "conspiracy" argument that NFL wants Colts to win.  When thes more »

Surprisingly Indy was called for 6 DPIs in 08.  Does not include many illegal contact calls.  Seems like F. Keihao can't cover well.  Also, R. Mathis must lead league in offside penalties.
