The guy with the higheset WAR value on the team is the problem. Harness doesn't need any stinking WAR value...

It's interesting that Mookie has saved 8 runs defensively so far this year in both the fangraphs and baseball-reference metrics, on pace to save 25 per year. The entire team is projected to only score more »

This stuff is wrong on so many levels. Of course we need a .350 OBP guy leading off. It sure would be nice having a 900 OPS guy at 3rd, 4th and 5th also but how is that working out? None of these guys more »

Statistics is a science. The data is generally more relevant the larger the data sample. Statistics 101. What Betts did last year is absolutely significant and a data point in predicting his future pe more »

By the way, even after this year's slump, Mookie is still a lifetime wRC+ of 107 as compared to Holt's 96. Plus he's a much better fielder and base runner.

Holt has been at 3rd for only 3-4 games this week and he's already blown 2 tags which both cost us a run, plus missed several balls which maybe Panda would have had. Not good.
