    Sandoval is surprisingly good defensively for a guy his size an shape. Ideally he is best for a team without a lot of space on the sidelines I would think. Oakland's stadium is not his friend. I bet e more »

    The Sox wanted that middle of the order bat badly, and such bats are harder to get now. I'm just hoping Hanley still is that level of bat.

    Building that great lineup might have been more cost effective but holding onto 8-9 mlb ready OF is not ideal IMO. Somebody has to go: Hanram - No Castillo - No Betts - No Craig - Maybe Victorino - Ma more »

    How about those apples. Baseball Prospectus is one of the top 2 or 3 projection systems in baseball. In terms of overall WAR value, I agree that Mookie is the safest bet over any other Redsox player. more »

    This lineup has so much potential 1-9. I don't think we will have any MVP hitter candidates but guys like Betts, Bogaerts and Castillo might well emerge as major studs. Each of those guys might end up more »

    No doubt Farrell will think the same way Moon but if Ortiz looks like he has a bad spring I'd replace him with the 28-31 year old stud hitters in a heartbeat. One thing which would really hurt this te more »
