    Athletes have a short shelf life and have every right to negotiate the best possible deal, just like the team owners and excutives have the right to not pay over market value.

    I agree that Cespedes for Porcello is the most realistic deal. In addition to that deal I would reluctently offer Mookie & Swihart as the centerpiece of a Samardzjia - Coco Crisp deal with the A's.   more »
