This guy has to be one of the stupidest human beings on the planet. It's almost beyond comprehension that he blew his second chance so quickly...as you said, in the same town!!!!

Give it up dude, you are wrong. Go e-mail Esiason or the NFL if you need clarification.

Bcornell you are simply incorrect. Go do your homework. Esiason was on WEEI this morning and said it was a legal hit. He is paid to know the game and the rules. That part of the play is not argue more »

I'll ask the same question....so you know more about football than Boomer Esiason? He said it was a legal hit, good enough for me. He is paid to know the game and all the rules.

So bidemytime, you know more about football than Boomer Esiason?

It was not an illegal hit, Esiason talked about it this morning on WEEI. You just can't lead with your helmet which Pollard did not do.

Sorry, completely legal hit and replay showed he wasn't down (only by 2-3 inches though). I initially thought the same thing. There have been so many rule changes that most fans (including me sometim more »

Won't argue with your opinion on Welker's game yesterday but you and everyone else are simply wrong about the SB play. That was a bad throw by Brady. No WR catches that ball more than 30-50% of the more »

easy to figure it out, they haven't had a complete defense since 2004
Posted 01/21/2013 02:03:17 EST
And, although Brady played well in 01, 03, and 04 those SB wins were much more about the Patriots as a team and winning with defense. Bruschi, Vrabel, Ty Law, etc were way more responsible for those more »

Cicero, there have been so many rules changes to protect players that I originally thought the same thing. Esiason cleared it up this AM on WEEI. Incidental helmet to helmet contact (on a non-QB) i more »

Klaus, Tony is a COLUMNIST, not a sportwriter. He is paid to voice his opinion, not report the facts.

Spot on Dan as usual. It's always amazed me that knucklehead Pats fans always forget how lucky the Pats have been during this run. Look, I'm not saying they haven't been a great team as they clearly more »

I'm a Patriots hater but the Spygate thing is sooooooo overblown. Bill has always been a sore loser and a world class jerk which is one of the reasons I hate the team so much. Congrats to the Ravens! more »

Soxwest1, you obviously don't understand Mazz's job description. He is not a REPORTER or a JOURNALIST anymore. He is a COLUMNIST and is paid to have an opinion.
