The point of this editorial is swell taken. The grammar in the headline is not. Thankfully does not modify anything in the headline. In fact, it says that the MBTA acted in a thankful manner.

I spoke with Scott Boras's mother. She said that anyone who listens to that boy's BS might as well throw his wallet in the ocean and is not fit to be making baseball or any other kind of decisions.
