I also borrowed only what I needed and made payments while in school... I pay extra every month....... I don't mind paying the loan but the extra $60 in interest a month is what kills me!

I just get so fustrated that I can pay back my car loan quicker then my student loans and the principal was the same amount!! I also pay more each month to my student loans then my monthly car paym more »

Boston is flooded with teacher. For each position their any over thousands of applicants. I am a teacher and although I am "not on the clock" for a eight hour work day, I usually work ten hours a day. more »

Ummm..So I don't think my parents have $20,000 sitting on the side to give their three children- who are all well educated but under-employed due to the job market! They have raised us to be self-suff more »

I am wondering why I could pay my $25,000 car off in five years ($295/month) but my $20,000 student loans takes 20 years ($220/month) to pay off. The daily interest accrual is ridiculous! more »

Also on a side note: Why is child care so costly? Maybe if it was more affordable for families it would be easier to return to work. $350 a week equals $16,800 a year. Wow pretty close to college tuit more »
