Pretty lame effort. Actions speak louder then words Mr. Bettman. I hope the fans show the NHL that they are sick and tired of the BS and actually speak with their pockets.

He foots the bill (all the way up to the cap btw!), give the guy some credit. He's obviously excited/happy for them to be there, and personally, I don't think it's all about the money. I don't know Ja more »

Gut check time. Canadiens are indeed headed to TD Garden for game 7. We'll see if the Bruins can make up for their previous implosions or continue with the futility. I for one am praying they finally more »

Comment on: 'Bruins missing the net'
Amazing how teams, relatively unchanged, can go from the top of their game......down to the duldrums. Injuries have played a role here for sure in this skid, but like others posting here, i get the im more »

Comment on: 'Savard hurt as Bruins are crumpled by Blackhawks'
What's that saying again....."when things get tough, the tough get going"? Sure hope that applies here, because the B's are in deep trouble with Savvy & Bergy gone up front. We'll see how they respond more »

This team can contend for a cup, barring any serious injury set backs to key players. I say trade away for what we need to get us over the top at trade deadline team. Like others have said here......i more »

Comment on: 'They barely got started'
roninent1 I'm with you......way to early to cast off the B's after 1 game like so many seem to be doing here. As for Kessel, we'll have to wait and see how this works out. Way to early to speculate ei more »

Comment on: 'Kessel and Bruins not the right fit'
"No matter - things will work out JUST GREAT for him - in Toronto. Playing for Ron Wilson. Under Brian Burke. He'll finally be among people who appreciate him just the way he is." They might, IF, and more »

Comment on: 'Teams showing interest in Kessel'
Kessel has talent for finding the back of the net no doubt, but there are some factors that could have a significant impact on his future; the biggest being injury prone. He's not very big, and has al more »

Comment on: 'Kessel trade lost in translation'
Glad the deal fell apart. Kaberle is not that great....I've seen him play alot. Though he can move the puck, he's a defensive liability many times. Regarding Phil "the thrill" Kessel, I think he's too more »

Its remarkable how with almost a flick of a switch, this series has turned. Bruins dominated in the first game. Looked like it would be the Canes making the quick exist. Not sure what happened in the more »

Comment on: 'A change for the better in Bruins' Ryder, a former Canadien'
It's just too bad Carboneau won't be there to shake Ryders hand when the series finishes and the Bruins move on. I guess he'll have to settle with Gainey. Still, it's got to be something Ryder will en more »
He very nearly scored on that trick play......Rask's legs were wide open, had he just had the puck released closer to the middle of the net.
