While wages are somewhat stagnant, if you hade some dough in the stockmarket, your income could very well have gone up 14% (or more).

My house in MA has low property taxes of $3700/yr. (1700 sq ft) My 3 room condo in Manhattan has property taxes of almost $14,000 per year. (600 sq ft) My real estate experience is that taxes rise. more »
