Craig did zip wrong on his slide into third. However, he chose to bounce up (using Middlebrooks back for support) and to start toward home well inside the chalk line to the plate. As he caused the i more »

It seemed to me that Error 1 was on Gomes for a bad throw when runner would have been out easily. Then Salty tried to bail Gomes out by staying at/ near plate and hoping to corral throw, knowing Bres more »

Why does a veteran pitcher like Lackey panic when there is defensive screw up (his)? I thought was time to bear down, not just throw it down the middle for the next few hitters. Lackey was exellent more »

Hanrahan was clearly a bit off from when he first came in. However, Farrell was patient as he should have been. However, once Hanrahan threw that wild pitch that was 10' short of home plate, only Gra more »

I'm disappointed that they didn't give Iglaises more slack.. He's currently playing great. Let him go until he falls back and then demote him. After all, the idea is to win, not give players their e more »

I hope Farrell is better than I fear. I also would have preferred Brad, but I guess that he never had a chance.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE forget about Farrel. We want the next Joe Madden, not a retread.

This fascination with Ferrel seems insane. He was a fair pitching coach under Tito with a similar laid back attitude to Tito's. Now he's an unimpressive manager. Why would we want him aty all as a more »

Like I said 6 weeks ago, trade for one of the National's young catchers, probably Flores but Ramos would be even better. Can't miss as Nats need lots of stuff, especially good outfield prospects and i more »

Again, Papelbum can only throw fastballs; fortunately the last Yankee hitter couldn't catch up with 92-94 mph fastballs. He's a disaster waiting to happen every time he comes in. more »
