There is a lot of blame to go around, no doubt about that, but this article is beyond weak. First, you can't "fire" players because you still have to pay them ... they have contracts. Duh?! I mean, ye more »

I like this plan. If Buch isn't ready, then use Wake instead of Buch. I'll take Wake for 3-5 IP + Aceves for 3IP over anything involving Lackey. more »

Ugh. I really don't understand why DMac is starting tonight ... it's not like he has great stats vs LHP. CCisnotabust: Yes, this is crazy. Our current 1-5 are outrageously good ... all of them are top more »

Oh and I hope Tek gets a couple of hits tonight. We need 'em and it's just too depressing to watch him at the plate lately. I look forward to a line up entirely above the Mendoza line. more »

I think the nit picking on PA's typos is a little silly at times given this world of on-the-fly publishing but this was too darned funny given the number of edit failures .... CloudyKnight wrote: Pete more »

I'd go with a modified version of #'s 1 & 2. Have JD Drew do the locker room fire 'em up speach, flip over a table and threaten to beat anyone who talks back. Then he needs to flip out at the first qu more »

I'd love to have Crawford, but reality says go with the righty Werth. FWIW, I'm not convinced we should sign either ... I guess it comes down to years & money. Werth for 4 yrs 65ish is probably okay. more »

PCH - I agree with you on much of this. They should sign Beltre even if it takes 4yr / $60m. Even regressing, playing at Fenway he's likely a .275+ AVG, 25+ HR, 35+ 2B guy . . . combined with his defe more »
