Comment on: 'Do-it-yourself project for Bruins starts tonight vs. Senators'
The players have to focus back on what makes them win: solid defense to back up their world-class goaltending. They won't win by trying to be more offensive; they don't have that kind of talent. The o more »

Comment on: 'Coverage has been slick'
WEEIdiots showed their colors when the Bruins beat the hated Habs in game 7 and all they could talk about afterwards was jack Edwards' post-game comments. They hate hockey so much they couldn't bring more »

Comment on: 'Kaberle’
I was hoping I was wrong about Kaberle but unfortunately not. What a waste of a draft pick. Chiarelli stinks. Bring back Jeff Gorton! more »

Comment on: 'After giveaways, what’
Instead of blaming the players lke we always do, how about blaming the management for overvaluing them? The Krejci line is not a number 1 line. Kaberle is not a difference maker ad does nothing for th more »

Comment on: 'Bergeron’
This is a telling quote about not just Bergeron but the whole team's lack of offense and consistency: "Kelly, a defensive center, saw 1:44 of power-play time. In Ottawa, Kelly averaged only 10 seconds more »

Good point Maz. Management is always asking the players to step up but now management needs to do the same. more »

Comment on: 'Healthy Seguin is asked to take a seat'
Seguin still watches far too much rather than participate. It's obviously been a huge leap from Juniors and he still needs lots of adjustment. Not a terrible move by the Bruins. he'll be back soon eno more »

Comment on: Without%20Savard%2C%20Seguin%20should%20be%20pivotal
I think Seguin should not be living alone in his own place. He's taking on too much. He shouldn't be learning to cook and do his own laundry as well as how to become an NHL star all at the same time. more »

Comment on: Pick%20three%20stars%20of%20Senators-Bruins%20game
Bergeron, Wheeler and Seguin. I skipped Thomas because although he was his stellar self he was not the main factor in the game. Wheeler was everywhere and Seguin had one of his best games as a Bruin s more »

Comment on: Pick%20three%20stars%20of%20Bruins-Penguins
I can't believe Fleury is not in there; he was amazing. Chara is #1 start for me. Not only did he score the first goal but he led the team into a higher gear which led to the comeback. more »

Comment on: 'Bruins are trying to put the pieces together'
With Wideman and Hunwick gone off the blueline that really changes the look of the breakout. It's so much easier to forecheck a one-dimensional defense. Next move the B's make will absolutely have to more »

Comment on: 'Difference is they’
Something is different indeed. If this was the Bruins of seasons past the effort on opening night vs the Caps after a long trip would have been disappointing. They have more confidence now and the spe more »

If Savard stays they would likely send Ryder to Providence, at least that's what I'm hearing. I think the team is not as high on him anymore anyway. Personally, if he becomes a UFA I think it might no more »

Comment on: 'Their recipe could use a little jam'
Dupes is right on target. Chara and Boychuck ripped off some good shots and players had time to plant in front but the wingers atayed wide and Miller saw it all the way. This is too soft a team. Sturm more »

Nice article Chris!! That is the root of the problem. Funny thing about the Caps game: If the B's knew how to score goals they probably could have beaten WSH. They had enough chances; they just don't more »

Comment on: 'Bruins GM Chiarelli waiting for full view, not shadow of team'
Correction: Chiarelli did not draft Lucic. lucic was highly prized and drafted by Jeff Gorton even before he made a name for himself in the Memorial Cup. that's why the Bruins stole him. The only thin more »

Comment on: 'Bruins GM Chiarelli waiting for full view, not shadow of team'
He thinks they'll be fine when Lucic and Savard return? Neither of them are goal scorers and if anything, their absence has betrayed a gross lack of depth that will bubble up again during the next rou more »
Vs NJ. Zanon looked good, Corvo and Rolston just awful. Better keep Krejci, Seguin and Lucic together for a while. B's need a RW, hope Horton/Peverly are back soon or it's a big hole.
