He's just another iteration of Willie Weld and Mitt Romney, who were absent during most of their terms, too.
Comment on: David Ortiz says he wouldn?t agree to trade
Posted 06/19/2015 04:38:36 EDT
Of course he doesn't want a trade. What other team would let him get away with never hustling down to first base, and hugging and chatting with all the opposing players during the game?
Comment on: Sandoval benching just another headache for Red Sox Does John Farrell have control of the Red Sox?
Posted 06/19/2015 03:22:32 EDT
I don't know why Ortiz always escapes criticism. He never makes an effort to run to first base, and all he wants to do is to hug and chat with the opposing players. Not a good example, in my opinion.

Doesn't seem to explain why even though I use less electricity than I did a year ago, my bill is about 60% higher.
Comment on: A few days off doesnât signal David Ortizâs demise

Ortiz might have the flu? Too bad for all those opposing players he's always hugging!

It's the switching twice a year that's so annoying. Pick one or the other, DST or EST and just leave it there.
Comment on: No quick relief for electricity customers

So the managers of the electric utilities are, let's say, incompetent, and we're all paying for it.

None of those perks are enough to make me buy a car from one dealer over another.

Just shows how out of touch with reality these people are. How about a committee to make these apartments clean and safe for the students who have to live in them now?

Yeah, let's get the Cold War going full force again! Maybe we can go back and revisit Vietnam, too. Will we ever learn from our mistakes?
Comment on: Seahawksâ final play call: What were they thinking?

The Seahawks did New England fans another service, too. They've now replaced the '86 Red Sox as the team coughing up the biggest choke in a single game in the history of sports. (The 2004 Yankees stil more »

Your comment is an example of how the media can turn people on or off towards a player, sometimes with only a camera shot or two. Nomar never gave anything less than 100% when he was on the field, and more »
Comment on: Market Basketâs four percent discount ends Saturday
Posted 12/27/2014 11:55:42 EST
It was always just a gimmick anyway. Market Basket's prices are the lowest around, with or without the 4 percent, so I doubt whether it made a difference in anyone's decision to shop there. more »
