In addition to what thor said, all we had to do was stop them from scoring a TD into the wind. By taking the wind, all we needed to do to stay alive and win was kick a field goal. With the wind at o more »

I really wanted to turn it off after the first fumble. A 14 point swing on 1 play and giving Manning the lead! I suffered through the early years, though, when we'd have been happy with winning more more »

The 'typically weak' AFC teams sure are beating a lot of the studs. New Orleans, Cincinnati. Heck, Buffalo outplayed K-C; the coaches gave that game away.

As long as we make the playoffs there's no need to rush. As it was pointed out somewhere else on BDC, Brady is building chemistry with the other receivers right now. If Gronk had been playing Saturda more »

Wouldn't be too hard on the D Line. It was Drew Brees and that high-powered Saints Offense they weren up against. As a whole, the D kept us in the game, putting us in position to win it at the very more »

The imporant thing is they won. A good team wins a game like that. I agree they played like cr*p. They didn't give up, though, and won from behind. Other than the Ridley fumble-itis, everything else more »

I expect our entire Secondary play to improve with the addition of Tommy Kelly. With Kelly supporting Wilfork, our improved pass rush takes ressure off our secondary.
Comment on: Patriots release Tim Tebow - Extra Points - Boston.com
Posted 08/31/2013 12:04:06 EDT
Here's a stretch. Tebow has now been given some insight into the Pat's offense. If some odd sequence of injuries happen over the season, BB could bring in a QB already somewhat familiar with our pla more »

Ideally each of the position coaches are developing key needs. Trying to improve a QB prospect does not prevent us from trying to develop a shutdown corner.

ditto hearing about the rest of the team. He got a legitimate shot. Go Pats!

I remember freezing my butt off watching Patriots' home games in the 60's wishing we were knocking at the Super Bowl's door every year. Now we're there every year. We could have just as easily won th more »

The Nomar trade was tough to take, but we all knew it was time. This one is even tougher. Youk still has plenty of what we need, but he's not our best at any position, and he's not the future, either. more »
