Ouch...will be very interesting to see if Boston even bothers countering. Without a high end player like St Louis or Bobby Ryan....there is really no point, save your prospects, Pens have wrapped this more »

Ryan O'Reilly finished with the Avalanche. Would fit perfect on that third line, he is a great two way player who broke out last season and cant reach an agreement with Colorado. Trade for him Boston, more »

They are painful to watch right now. They will need to pick up someone HUGE at the deadline who can score every/any given night to have a shot at the playoffs now. more »

Would be a decent pickup for someone like Minnesota who could use help at center, at 2M a year (50% cost) more »

Anaheim is a tough gritty team with talent to boot. Their blue line is awful in comparison to ours though. With a lot of strong teams in the east this year Julien needs to pinpoint what is wrong early more »

Agreed with above post. Thornton's game has come along way through his short Bruins tenure. Give Julien a lot of credit there, he is one of the few talented enforcers left out there, with underrated h more »

Give Morris a chance Bostononians. Once he learns the system and gets some confidence playing for a new team, he will be dynamite. Boston missed the net A LOT in game one, they made it easy on Theodor more »

Wow...hate on for PK much? Sour grapes, in my opinion Kess is a great player and goal scorers are rarely relied upon to bang in front of the net, give me a break. Ill be one of the few shaking my head more »

If not Boston someone else would have overpaid for him. Its reality folks...pro players get more than deserved. Look at Columbus and other teams that cant attract players or wont overpay for players.. more »

Don't hate on dkrejci46, he could be right. Signing Kessel, Krejci, and the others wont be an easy task for Chiarelli. If they wont take a discount deal then Bergeron, Sturm or even Savard would have more »

The Habs are the biggest obstacle I think. It will be a great joy to the players to be over that hump and they can then settle in and take care of winning the cup. more »

So excited to have a full team come playoffs. Not one without Savard, Bergeron or Kobasew anyways. Boston is hungry... Cant blame the boys for the Ottawa game. Several key guys missing and nothing to more »
