I agree. Shaughnessy is a huge tool. The prolem is the lack of top notch sportswriters in Boston. Bob Ryan or Jackie McMullen would have been much much much better choices than Danny Boy.

Basement Bobby was the worst major league mangerial hire in decades. Only someone like Last Place Lucchino would have hired Captain Queeg to be the manager. He should just shut up and go away.
