I'm surprised it took someone this long to realize the similarity between the way the club low-balled Clemens and Lester.

Why was Ross batting? He has a .167 AVG against LHP and against RHP. Even though his OBP and SLG is better against LHP, he still only gets hits one-sixth of the time.

Miami has a good point; the Red Sox did not come remotely close to meeting MLB requirements. As for Miami raising ticket prices. Why not? They certainly stood a chance of selling out at a higher price more »

To thirtysomething--Given that Napoli is 21 for 115 (.183) with runners in scoring position, excluding bases loaded situations, he hasn't done a lot that counted in them.

Napoli is 7 for 15 and 20 RBI with the bases loaded. If you take that away from his batting with RISP, he would be hitting .183 with 31 RBI in those situations. In other words, he ain't done anywhere more »

I was going to point out that Napoli left 6 runners on last night and Drew left three on. A timely hit, or two, from either of them and Lackey (3.33 runs per game support) gets the win.
