You forgot about the Kochs bankrolling the superpacs for Browbs that got him the seat in the first place. The rsserves in the wings makes the direct contribution count almost irrelevant More important more »

Comment on: 'Elizabeth Warren acknowledges telling Harvard, Penn of Native American status'
This is the equivalent to the Obama birther issue. The Right is trying so hard to de-legitimize Elizabeth Warren. They're also trying to energize the anti-affirmative action folks. Note to the editor: more »

Comment on: 'Secret Service culture scrutinized after scandal'
Women would not be a bad thing in the secret service, but this whole scandal has been blown way out of proportion. While showing a moral lapse by our standards, they did not endanger the President, no more »

Comment on: Rep. Weiner and the Media - Culture Club blog - Boston.com
Thanks Kara. It's amazing that we're wasting so much ink on someone's fantasy. Even though it's a little bazaar that a rep is sending "inappropriate" photos of himself to strangers, there was no physi more »

Comment on: 'Man, son accused of stealing food from church'
When are we going to differentiate between an adult and 11 year old CHILD. The father is the criminal and the child is a victim. Grow a heart. more »

Comment on: Harvard%20to%20sponsor%20bike%20share%20stations%20in%20Cambridge%20and%20Boston
This is a great idea. The only problem I have with it is that it might encourage cycling without a helmet. Riding Boston/Cambridge streets without a helmet is dangerous.

Comment on: 'GOP says it'll block bills until tax cuts extended'
It's incredible how the conservatives have managed to deceptively frame this argument. If we let the "tax cuts" expire on those making over $250k, what it actually means is increasing the tax rate by more »

Unfortunately, the bigots, I mean main principals of the Westboro "Church" are the Phelps family. They're a bunch of lawyers who goat organizations to try to block their hate speech, then sue them for more »

Comment on: 'High court allows gay military ban for now'
President Obama is making sure that all the "i"s are dotted and "t"s are crossed so the rabid right won't make an issue of "activist judges." Most of us see descrimination against military staff with more »

Comment on: 'GOP dumps another $1.4M into Mass. gov's race'
So the GOP is going to spend another $1.4M to give us the false narative of how terrible life is in our State and how we should go back to the leadeship that brought us Swift, Romney and Cellucci. Goo more »

Hillary would be great. I'd prefer a sharp, young progressive that will be in the seat for the next 4 decades, defending liberal values. We need a progressive at least as skewed to the left as Roberts more »

Comment on: 'NY suit vs. Google seeks damages for pictures, art'

By that time, the Windows Phone devices will be out with lots of available apps, and the droid will only get better. The iPhone is pretty cool, but the voice quality is poor and Apple keeps it pretty more »
Why vote out someone who is competent and represents their consitituents well. The idea of term limits is stupid and only advocated by those who want to get into power.
