Comment on: Larry Lucchino to step down as Red Sox CEO after season

The time was right.
Comment on: Everything the Red Sox do for the rest of this season should be about next season

Larry is President and CEO and if we accept John Henry's statement "is in charge of the Boston Red Sox" He at the very least has to agree with trades and free agency signings.

John and ben do share in the responsibility for the teams poor showing, but lets not forget Larry . His finger prints are all over many of these poor moves.

Tony was the best candidate available last year, nothing has changed.

What this team needs is a losing manager, John Farrell! If that's the best the Sox can do we are in real trouble.

Tito may have had problems last year not the least of which was a totally distracted owner. Henry can't be fired, but his lack of involvement hurts the Red Sox more than anything Tito ever did.

Should Bard and Aceves both start with Buchholz returning from an injury, the Sox will need as much help as they can get in the bullpen. None of these pitchers can be expected to go deep in early seas more »

Garza will be a Free Agent before The Red Sox get "Significant" Compensation from the Cubs. The only "significant" addition the Red Sox will make this year will be a Manager. If and when that happens, more »
