Comment on: Swaddling infants linked to later hip problems - Health & wellness - The Boston Globe
Posted 11/04/2013 03:23:23 EST
It's not saying no swaddling, it's saying do it so they can still bend their legs. I swaddled up to 3 months (when they usually became too mobile to keep swaddled).

Comment on: State plans to end controversial program that places 1,700 homeless families in motels by 2014 - Business - The Boston Globe
Posted 01/02/2013 12:41:49 EST
$2400 is double what I've paid rent for a decent apartment, and there is plenty of open housing. Ending this program is a win-win, if it puts families back in regular housing.
Comment on: Under siege in the war against sugary drinks, the cranberry industry hopes to battle back - Nation - The Boston Globe

Posted 03/13/2012 12:55:52 EDT
I have to say, I do not like the redesign. I can appreciate your need to save paper by going small, and save money by downgrading paper quality... but this is too small. The Globe Magazine is supposed more »
Comment on: A path blocked by Lego toys - Opinion - The Boston Globe
Posted 02/14/2012 02:54:47 EST
My daughter plays with her brother's Legos, and they build cool things together. I think Lego just doesn't know how to market legos to girls--having a "girl" section is the problem. The "boy" legos ar more »
