A carbon tax is a good idea, and i think it will happen within a couple years. One is already proposed in the House -- HR 6338.

According to a witness, the counter protesters were not "rushing the stage" as stated in the story quoting the police. That is most likely an overstatement, and makes it seem like the counter proteste more »
