Even if she thought this was the right decision, it's not very smart to do this as her first act out of the starting block. What is she thinking? For starters, put the muzzle on her arrogant husband.

Not sure if Walsh can be blamed for unfair attacks. Anyway, toughen up if you want to be in public life. I don't really see how she was compelled to tell this story.

This call for compassion is so transparently political. Why now when there have been so many chances before now to speak on this? Hopefully, Boston's voters won't be fooled by this shameless ploy.

She's a star who deserves the honor of being the first black woman to sit as a federal judge in Massachusetts. We are so proud of her.
