The fact is the call was too close to reverse. He was out cold and it looked like his leg knocked it out of his hand before his leg hit the ground. The real issue is if Ridley is going to try to lowe more »

Would love to see Reed here. Like another Harrison signing. An enforcer and coach in the secondary.

Great point on field position. Mesko was great and with that field position, the offense and defense should have been set. On Welker, he is a deadly #2 (or #1A) but not a #1.

The problem is the defense. No talent on the back end, but also BB has built a defense like the old Giants' defense with huge linebackers to stop the run. The problem is that since then and even sin more »

On your No. 9, you're right. Brady is getting to that point where Elway was at the end of his career. He is certainly capable of winning games, but to win it all he needs a stud running back and stou more »

I agree with you on the leadership and coaching. BB seems to now take a completely hands off approach on the offensive side, and I'm not sold on McDaniels' offense. On the Defensive side, yesterday more »

I agree that the roster is better, but what surprises me is that a guy who knows the history of the game like BB would have an offense much like those of the 90s Bills and Moon's Oilers. Those offens more »

If these guys are late, they should be disciplined. Everyone knew of the storm. Professionals get up early and make it on time. Whether the team is 10-2 or 7-5, that doesn't change. And the four of th more »

Comment on: 'Patriots forced to defend their offensive identity'
I agree that BB the GM is failing miserably. Derrick Burgess for two picks? Shawn Springs? Joey Galloway? Tully BC off of the waiver wire as arguably your most disruptive defender? As they say on Mond more »

Comment on: 'View from here: Crucial decision was an error'
I would have punted. However, what is missing here is why does everyone assume that Hanson the punter is the second coming of Ray Guy. How many crappy punts has he had over the years? Yes, he was havi more »
He also had the flu in 2004 and played a near perfect championship game at Pittsburgh. He looked like Tony Eason back there at time. Feeling pressure that wasn't there. Very disappointing.
