We understand that Frank Phillips does not want Martha Coakley to win because the only articles he has written about this campaign are anti-Coakley. But as a seasoned (to say the least) political rep more »

One wonders why Vennochi has been on a crusade against Coakley when there are other candidates that clearly have far more baggage than she does and have contributed far less to the Commonwealth than s more »

It's time for the whining to stop. Nobody complains when Boston lures companies from Cambridge or Somerville after those cities have invested large amounts in retaining them.

I'm glad that James Reed got to go to the concert at Town Hall, but most Boston area folks did not. It does not belong on this list. And if it does then all kinds of out-of-town concerts should be i more »

Somerville is an urban center equally as diverse as Boston--and it shares a border with Boston--so I don't understand the fuss. It's not as though Partners moved to some lily-white suburb. And maybe more »

This story might have more validity if Frank Phillips did not have a history of trashing female candidates. Time to retire Frank.

Why is this worth a page 1 story? Because the journalists are offended that she will not stop to chat with them.

Good point--the market is much sofer in those communities because buyers want the convenience of an easy commute to downtown Boston.
