  • Forum Post: Pats record this year?

    Posted 08/31/2014 02:09:36 EDT

12-4 as it stands right now, but if this team can stay relatively healthy, I see us picking up steam going into the playoffs, once again playing an AFC Championship game in Denver, winning, and then r more »

    Posted 08/31/2014 02:02:29 EDT

They needed to free up a roster spot for additional moves, and would have liked to get something in return.  For those of you thinking we bought high and sold low, you must not understand how an insur more »

    Posted 08/27/2014 11:11:46 EDT

Mankins was a goner next year simply because of his inflated salary and the need for that money to be spread around to other players who are in contract years.  BB pulled the trigger on it now because more »

It's unfortunate this move wasn't done a couple weeks + ago, but oh well, thems the breaks.  I like what I see, big body WR converted to TE.  Shows promise, and could contribute this year.  I foresee more »

  • Forum Post: with BRADFORD out for the year, could we get a 2nd for MALLET?

    Posted 08/26/2014 11:32:38 EDT

I find it highly unlikely any team, regardless of their circumstance would part with a valuable 2nd round pick for Mallet.  Honestly I find it laughable that this has been talked about so much here.  more »

I expect a substantial amount of cap relief next year, both in Hernandez finally coming off the books, and my gut tells me Mankins might get cut or resigned at a lesser rate.  BB loves to cut a year e more »

  • Forum Post: Ridley has his faults, but he's our best option

    Posted 08/22/2014 01:27:19 EDT

I look at Runningbacks not that different from how I view Quarterbacks.  You aren't going to put points on the board without occasionally giving the other team the ball.  For QB's it's a TD/Int ratio. more »

Browner and Tyms don't count against the 53 I believe.  So that should allow a little more flexibility for the first 4 weeks of the season.
