    If they want player to play for a win how about 3pts for a WIN and a SO/OT Win is 2pt and 1 pt for SO/OT Loss. So every game is worth 3pts. This would also help seperate the men from the boys and elmi more »

    What if the NHL CBA made the cap hit a moving average of 3? years (current year plus 2years).  For example Savard is payed 7,  7, 6.5, 5, 1.5, .5, .5 So his cap hit for 10-11 would be 6.66M. (20M/3y) more »

    Can you imagine the mess if the NHL voided the Hossa deal?  They would basicly say that Hossa made 8 mil last year with a 5 mil cap hit. Every other team wasnt allowed the extra 3Mil cap space because more »
