    Given the 11 runs and 4 dingers given up by Owens and Cook to start things off, this was a surprisingly watchable game.  You gotta like these guys--bosoxmal is right.

    I would trade him if he brought the right guy back, but I seriously doubt that is possible.  It would take six Swiharts and all the gold in Fort Knox to get a real ace, and even that would be a game.

    Yankees should have challenged Leon's double on the basis that Bogie virtually guaranteed he couldn't get a hit.

    Anyone who implies Bogaerts spirit was broken last year is simply ignorant.  He continues to play and bat with a terrific, progessional, joyful attitude.  #1 ranked SS in the AL this year--WAR rating. more »

    Sensible moves to play some benchers when the Sox pitching is giving up not just runs, but touchdowns.  I'm a fan of neither Craig nor Leon, but September is the right month, especially the Sox are no more »

    Breslow, hardly a stalwart, did 2.2 innings, giving up 1 run and would have had 3 innings and 0 runs if Sandoval makes the play.   Not bad.
