Did Spikes burn bridges?  Can't remember.  If the price is right, they could do worse.  At the very least he knows the system and BB knows his strengths.

BB wanted Revis at his price, I don't believe the offer was done for PR purposes.  Revis knew he could get more elsewhere and used the Pats as leverage.  As soon as the Pats realised Revis was all but more »

    Posted 03/26/2015 10:47:21 EDT

Revis got paid more than the Pats were willing to pay him, end of story.  There is no way the Jets weren't going to overpay for him, and it seems BB and crew realised it early on in the process.  To h more »

This is a big offseason for Sullinger.  Needs to prove he can control himself at the table and dedicate himself to a strict offseason regimen.  I never heard anything but good things about him at Ohio more »

    Posted 03/24/2015 07:47:50 EDT

I'm beginning to think that living his life "his way" is more important than losing 40 pounds and being a double-double machine.  If he could play 36 mins. he'd average 18 and 10.  Most guys three yea more »

I am not one to harp on players, but Sullinger has got to realise that his future is very much dependent on his ability to get in and to stay in shape.  In three years he has yet to break 30 mpg and h more »

  • Forum Post: Why Greg Monroe?

    Posted 03/24/2015 07:58:07 EDT

Monroe might actually be a PF who wants to play like one.  Sullinger likes the jump shot too much, and he doesn't really need to be taking 3's.  If they got Monroe it would make Sullinger expendable.  more »

    Posted 03/23/2015 11:17:21 EDT

I think Turner does OK.  He doesn't look to the drive and kick, more often he drives and either takes a mid-range shot or he looks to pass to the post.  He had Young on the perimeter wide open at time more »

A competitive division is a good thing, wheter for the quality of the games televised  or because it keeps the Pats on their toes.  I am glad Rex is in Buffalo and they're trying to field a good team. more »

I am not sure it made sense to retain Revis at his cost, but I won't be a hypocrite here and say that plan B is awful.  It'e easy to say "pay the guy" but then we see that C. Jones, Hightower and Coll more »

Losing two starting-calibre CBs doesn't make me feel great.  But I don't think FA is how BB will get a Revis and Browner replacement.  I think draft and trades is more likely.  I can't imagine BB does more »

Bequette is perplexing.  There is a lot of time invested in this guy, albeit on the PS.  At some point he either shows his worth or he is cut.  I agree that BB must like something about him, but what more »

I think Amendola is a good match for the Pats.  Now we can stop calling him overpaid.  The guy did everything asked of him as a WR and KR.  Glad he's back.

Zeller is a backup 5 and has exceeded expectatations.  Olynyk has his moments, but he can be inconsistent.  Still think KO's best basketball is ahead of him.
