  • Forum Post: Why not RDLR out of the pen?

    Posted 07/12/2013 07:07:17 EDT

He has MLB pen experience.  He's on an innings cap (moving him to the pen is one way to conserve innings).  He has a great fastball.  We have a need. Why not give him a shot in the 7th inning?  I'd ra more »

Or Micheal Young...Whatever happened to those talks?  I'd give up a Brentz/Britton or Brentz/Workman type package for Young. You know you are going to get .280/.350/.430 out of Young.  And he can move more »

    Posted 07/12/2013 06:56:24 EDT

I dont like Drew off the bench.  Holt is cheaper and more versatile.  He's a better candidate for our UIF position, IMO. If you want to move Iggy to SS, Drew doesnt have much value on this team.  I wo more »

    Posted 07/12/2013 06:47:06 EDT

I'm not worried about 1B.  Napoli has another prolonged hot streak in him this year.  Behind him you have Carp and Nava.

Bullpen help and third base are larger needs, IMO.

Middlebrooks' posses so much raw power it would be stupid to trade him right now, while his value is at an all-time low. He needs to shorten and simplify his swing.  I hope he's working on this in AAA more »

Reddick is hitting .219, with 4 HR.  32 RBI.  OPS of like .650.

He has been crap since last year's all star break.

Only problem is with two wildcard teams, there arent a plethora of sellers.

I'd like to see RDLR get a shot out of the pen.  I'd like to see Bradley in center.  These are really the only moves I'd make.
