  • Forum Post: josh reddick for 2 seconds?

    Posted 07/03/2013 06:42:14 EDT

It still works out for them as they had reportedly decided not to resign him, so getting two 2nds instead of just letting him walk isn't too bad.

  • Forum Post: Celtics acquire Colton Iverson, 7-1 Center in Second Round!

    Posted 07/01/2013 01:13:18 EDT

At one point it seemed as if Reggie Evans was going to be included in the Nets trade.  I know he wouldn't be part of the future, but I was excited to have him for the reason you mentioned below.  He's more »

    Posted 07/01/2013 01:05:15 EDT

I feel the same way.  It's hard for me to think of PP and KG as not being Celtics.  As of right now I'm a little bit of a Nets fan because of those two and would love to see them have success.   That' more »

  • Forum Post: KG to OKC or Lakers

    Posted 06/24/2013 01:14:27 EDT

I'd guess KG is either with the Clips or Celtics next year.  But what if the Pierce deal with the Cavs goes through.  Would KG be willing to go to Cleveland and play with PP and a top flight pg.  I'd more »

      1) Brian Shaw 2) Nate McMillian  (although there could be issues with Rondo) 3) Terry Porter   Chances are it's someone not on everyone's radar.  This team won't likely compete for a championship so more »

  • Forum Post: Boston and Milwaukee should not be in the playoffs

    Posted 04/20/2013 01:51:26 EDT

There are 30 NBA teams and 16 make the playoffs.  That's more than half, so statistically it's likely there will be a team or two under .500 that make the playoffs each year.   In response to PlayoffB more »

  • Forum Post: Rising Stars Game

    Posted 02/18/2013 11:31:47 EST

The Rising Stars/Rookie Game has been that way for awhile.  I don't think I've ever watched more than 10-15 minutes of it.

  • Forum Post: Celtics could get Howard, Crawford, Bledsoe & Al Jefferson!!!!

    Posted 02/16/2013 05:42:19 EST

It's not too crazy.  But I question of the Lakers would do it.  They're trying to win now and that's been very clear.  Getting Rondo doesn't help them there, plus they're paying Nash a good chunk of m more »

  • Forum Post: new trade rumor...KG

    Posted 02/16/2013 01:05:31 EST

I live in S Calif and see the Clippers a lot.  Bledsoe is the real deal, but somewhat unorthodox, similar to Rondo.  Jordan I would compare to Perkins, but taller, better shot blocker, and a better fi more »

I'm pretty sure he's in the last year of his contract.  Or, if not, he at least has an opt-out clause.     In response to Duke4's comment: Big Al recently said that he would love coming back to Boston more »

  • Forum Post: This Could Be Fab Melo 3 Years From Now

    Posted 02/03/2013 06:37:44 EST

If you mean Melo could be looking for a way to get a paycheck other than playing basketball in the NBA then you are probably right.

    Love the commercial though.

    Posted 01/21/2013 03:50:51 EST

This looks like the way to go to me too.  The 2nd unit looks like it could be led by Barbosa and Green offensively and if Terry ever gets it together he could be key in some 4th quarters playing with more »

I'm all for it.  Very little risk.  What I wouldn't want to see is Miami get him and then have him stay healthy and contibute.

  • Forum Post: Bradley back only brings more issues...

    Posted 12/30/2012 01:39:40 EST

He was awfully trying to run the team playing pg.  But when he played next to Rondo his game flourished.  He got a lot of easy baskets just by cutting to the bucket and his shots started falling too.  more »

  • Forum Post: Two Number Ones, Rondo and Big Expiring Contracts

    Posted 03/08/2012 03:25:15 EST

I like to look at it that way too, except that those 2 number ones don't look to be all that valuable.  I think they're the Clippers and Celtics picks, which if the draft was based on today's standing more »

  • Forum Post: Kaman Worth A 1st round pick?

    Posted 03/05/2012 01:24:13 EST

I'd rather have more of a post player and a player that is known as a rebounder.  Kaman is decent in the paint, but also takes a lot of outside shots, and we already have one big in KG who shoots jump more »
