    Comparable isn't the same.   His post season stats aren't as good, neither is his record vs AL teams. If they trade for Hamels I'm sure he'll be good, but don't expect he's the same guy that Lester ha more »

    If they sign Lester and Shields....they'd have signed 2 pitchers over the age of 30 in l-t deals.  Lester makes way more sense than Shields on any level.  He's younger, has pitched better, pitched bet more »

    Nava is probably gone soon, but I trust him getting in the lineup ahead of the Achy Breaky twins.   I think that lineup has plenty of pop.  Some v good OB guys in front.  Cespedes won't be a high OBP more »

    I'm not sure Papi is a hitting instructor, but he can influence Cespedes to seek out instruction. Considering his OBP went up 40 points  after joining the Sox he's a good example of learning.
