There's no denying this is a tight knit group of guys these Red Sox. Much can be said about the sum be greater than it's part in explaining why this team has been so good for the majority of the seaso more »

  • Forum Post: Is time to give Ellsbury a 4 year deal for 60M?

4 years 72 million feels about right for him. Doubte he gets more from anyone unless its an over pay. I think he winds up back here. BC seems to have a better approach with home grown players.

Looking at this glad to see I was somewhat right. Replace webster with workman, still might see rubby in the bullpen, drew might be untraceable, but should still be a playoff team.

The sox at the very least should go .500 which puts them at 91 wins, I think they'll win tonight. I can see the Yankees fall off a cliff and the same for the hired guns in Toronto. Tb, det, bos, shoul more »

Ranaudo will probably be better than peavy in two years, not sure I'd move him in that deal. This team certainly needs reinforcements though if they plan to contend.

The nba more than any other pro sports league is geared towards stars. Every remaining team has a star player they can rely on in the clutch. Rondo is a star, but he's a point guard and I can't recall more »
